Those were actually the only two songs I knew from both of them. Buffalo Stance was okay. I really like Save Tonight though. I remember planning to check out the rest of his album but I never did of course.

i loved nene's "manchild" she had her own baby in that video too. so sweet. I wondered why eagle eye didn't blow up with "save tonight" that was a hot track and got a lot of air play.

Neneh's "Homebrew" album is one of my favourite albums ever, I like her first album too, but the second is still on my playlist. But I lost her after that one.

Never cared for her brother...

neneh's albums are pretty tight. i still listen to her debut "raw like sushi"
almost once a month, it's simply a classic.

just this morning i was listening to "buddy x" from "home brew". she did some
great stuff. she also worked on a few songs with tricky, which are cool.

never cared too much for her brother tho, i just thought he was annoying and
his songs were so so.

why people think neneh dropped off the face of the earth after her debut is beyond me...she had a huge global hit with 7 Seconds, which was on her third album and she's had a couple hits with cirKus. She aint gone anywhere.

but that was all a long time ago...as i remember, her second album didn't do too well (don't ask me why, i loved it!) and after 7 seconds, it became pretty quit, didn't it?

The last I've heard about her, she had Lyme's disease. Haven't heard no more since.

They even teamed-up once:

I liked Neneh a lot in her day. I think my favourite of hers is probably the Lenny Kravitz-baiting Buddy X, though....
