Incarcerated rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris has been transferred from his Arkansas prison location and placed into a Georgia halfway house, according to his attorney.

Lawyer Steve Sadow said the rapper has returned to his hometown, Atlanta, Georgia.

He was released this morning from his place of incarceration in Arkansas," Sadow said in an interview. "As I understand it, he's on his way back to the Atlanta area. He has to report to a halfway house in Atlanta sometime this evening. And he will then spend somewhere between the next two or three months in a halfway house, ending his Buruea of Prison sentence. A halfway house is more along the lines of a residential dormitory. You live within this house that is broken into areas for living, and you are permitted to leave during the day for certain reasons of which would be employment, medical reasons, things of that nature, and you return to the halfway house in the evening. So it's a restriction on your liberty but it's a way for you to reenter into society and not be confined within a jail type institution 24-hours a day." (XXL Mag)

Escapes from Prison? Uh no, T.I. was released and is going to a half way house. Then he'll be under house arrest after that.

Anyway, good for him.

"Harris is expected to remain at the halfway house for three months and will still be required to finish serving slightly less than 500 hours of community service and about 23 days of home incarceration."

How fucking sad that Rober Downey Jr. spent almost a year and half in Jail for Drug violations (not selling, using, which is a health issue not a crime) and TI loaded his car with enough weapons to kill a small army and served nothing

As many times as Robert Downey got caught with drugs, he needed to go to jail to save his damn life. TI has served more than one month for his crime, so he's served SOMETHING. I could see if he wasn't the least bit remorseful for what he did, but he made a mistake and has learned and still is learning from it.

Well Downey wasnt saved by the Jail term because he had been arrested many times before, Drugs are still a health problem not a crime, unless selling or driving under the influence or if you commit a crime while on it, he was saved by the elimination of his circle of so called friends, and the intervention from very close friends, and then a wife and kid, showing HIM he had to grow up. I worked with Downey on Ali Mcbeal and he was spaced out and loaded the whole time. But he delivered when it came time to do his scenes. He was functional addict

Oh please. The only reason T.I. got into any trouble was because he has a prior record. Anyone else could have had as many guns as they wanted to IN THEIR HOME LIKE HE DID and no one would have been the wiser. And Robert Downey jr is a drug addict. I think he's a great actor but he's a drug addict. I wouldn't trust Robert Downey Jr. in my house even though I know he's rich. Mutha fucka might get to rambling through the medicine cabinet or something.

Hopefully, with his pleas of "I've learned", we can believe that he HAS learned, and if he has any real talent at music, then that's where he'll put his energies in the future, instead of trying to live some thug lifestyle. It amazes me how folks work to get out of a tough upbringing, poor housing, rough streets, etc, yet the minute they make their first $500K or million, the first thing some of these guys do is go right back to that place, mentally. It fucks up EVERYTHING in their lives. We've seen it over and over.

T.I. is young, and I do hope he'll just do his thing, and be more appreciative of the fans who put their money into his pocket. What a slap in the face when these fuckers piss on everything everyone has given them, fans or whoever.


And as far as we know, he hasn't violated any terms of being a felon (if he is one), or being a recovering drug addict.
