I owe that guy the world because she is second only to Erykah for me. I played that cd to death, so much so that both my children STILL know every word to that one 
I just joined the Lilith fair facebook page just because of Erykah and Jill. I have never seen her live, this is my mission for 2010.   I hope you get to see her live  |

Her debut was very strong but I favor the live album and Volume 3: particularly Whenever You're Around and The Real Thing. Volume 2 also has some very strong tracks to me: I Keep/I'm Still Here still speaks to me and I love I Need You. I also live the Live In Paris cd, too.
I love it all. I love her. She is so strong and sexy and confident. | |

I don't listen to her 2nd album as much as the 1st, but I still really enjoy it. "Not Like Crazy" and "Cross My Mind" are my favorites.
Her 3rd album some really good material too. "Wanna Be Loved" is the best!  | |

Ok, this performance is just BEYOND RIDICULOUS. Just watch her sing this song. My. God! If I could only choose one word to describe her personhood, it would be precious. She is so open to feeling, all the good and all the bad. She allows herself to be wide open so that her heart can soar in the glory of it's love and sink to the lowest of its sadness.
