i think so..i preferred em "raw" [Edited 1/2/10 9:11am] I think Motown "polished" and "popped" them up quite a bit. Not that I think that was a bad thing. I think that had a lot to do with MJ making the decision later, that he didn't just want to be an R & B singer. But for me, I loved the "raw" and can't get enough of that vintage clip.
