I don't live near a Best Buy,what was special about it?

I still need to get some of those 3-D glasses. I don't have a Target near me either. sad

I'm not sure what's on it, but it says Best Buy exclusive bonus disc and a 3d card.

If you pre-ordered with Best Buy, you got a free metal tin to store the DVD/Blu-Ray in. The Best Buy Blu-Ray edition came with a second disc with a copy to copy onto Play Station and some bonus content. (Not sure what is exactly on it yet. I bought the Blu-Ray but won't be getting my Blu-Ray player for a few weeks. The hologram cards that come with it are cool. However, I did get the regular DVD edition as well from Best Buy.) And yeah, that section in Wal-Mart with all the MJ stuff is amazing. I spent like $50 in that section coping 2 shirts, 1 bag, and tons of bracelets and necklaces. It pisses me off that all this merchandise comes out after Michael passed away, and it took him dying for it to be "cool" to wear Michael Jackson shirts.

Source: Michael Jackson's Kids May Appear at Grammys

Will the King of Pop's kids be singing his praises this weekend?

A source tells E! News exclusively that Grammy Awards producers have been making a last-minute effort to incorporate in some capacity Michael Jackson's children—Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket—into Sunday night's tribute to their late father.

The Grammys tribute will feature a 3-D mini movie set to Jackson's "Earth Song" that was going to be featured in his This is It tour.

"They've been working on everything from them singing to just making an appearance," the Grammys insider says of the little Jacksons' possible involvement.

When contacted for comment, a rep for the Grammy Awards telecast says she wasn't aware of the participation of the Jackson children. A family rep couldn't be reached for comment.

But a source close to the Jackson family tells E! News that, as of Tuesday night, the children "might" be there. The family source confirms that several members of the Jackson family, including father Joe, are scheduled to attend the Grammys.

"They might go, but Kate [Kathryn, their grandmother] is very protective of having them in front of the cameras, so I doubt they will walk the carpet," says the source.

Usher, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion and Smokey Robinson are among the confirmed participants in the Jackson tribute.

On Sunday, the Grammys will present Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song” in 3-D during their tribute to the late pop icon. Here’s a preview of the mini-movie, part of which was shown during Michael Jackson’s This Is It. You can watch the presentation in 3-D by picking up your free glasses at Target.

He would have still been performing. Sadly today I would have been hopping on a plane to fly over to the UK for 2 shows. They were slated for Feb 3 and Feb 8.

Sadness.

Michael Jackson's children to take stage at awards

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- Michael Jackson's two eldest children are scheduled to take the stage this weekend to accept the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for their father, Jackson family sources said.

It would be the first public appearance for Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, since their dramatic appearance at the memorial service 12 days after their father's death.

"The whole world is waiting to see these children blossom," said Brian Oxman, a lawyer for Joe Jackson.

Two sources close to the family said the youngest, 7-year-old Blanket, was not expected to appear, although they suggested that might change.

Contrary to some media reports, the sources said there was no plan for the children to sing or dance at the show.

The Recording Academy, which presents the Grammy Awards, will honor the late pop star with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Special Merit Awards ceremony Saturday evening in Los Angeles.

Video of the presentation is likely to be included in Sunday night's musical tribute to Jackson during the Grammy telecast, the sources said.

While Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, is expected to attend, Joe Jackson, his father, decided not to go because of his anger over the behind-the-scenes talks that led to the agreement to have the children accept the award, family sources said.

The decision came just this week, after Katherine Jackson, the legal guardian of the children, complained to Grammy producers that no family members had been invited, the Jackson sources said.

Two sources in the family said that she was initially told by producers that the estate's special administrators would decide who would take part in the Jackson tribute.

"Can you believe this crap?" one source quoted Joe Jackson as saying when he heard that.

The Grammy producers have not responded to a CNN request for comment.

A spokesman for the estate administrators said the matter was for Grammy producers to decide.

"Why is a stranger making family decisions?" asked Oxman, the lawyer who is representing Michael Jackson's father in a legal battle with the administrators.

Oxman said those administrators have disconnected the Jackson family from any decisions involving Michael Jackson's legacy.

Oxman was in a Los Angeles court Thursday where a judge set May 26 as the date he will hear testimony in Joe Jackson's request for a monthly allowance from his son's estate. Joe Jackson, 80, said he depended on his son's financial support for years before his death.

The administrators, lawyer John Branca and former music executive John McClain, contend he has not shown how he was "actually dependent" on Michael Jackson.

The estate lawyers said the expenses Joe Jackson wants covered by the estate -- including vacations, air travel, assistants and legal fees -- are not reasonable. They also noted that while Jackson's mother and three children were named as beneficiaries in his will written in July 2002, Joe Jackson was not.

Joe Jackson is challenging the validity of that will, which names Branca and McClain as executors, but so far the court has refused to hear his arguments.

The judge overseeing probate of the will already awarded $60,000 in monthly support for the three children and $26,000 a month for Katherine Jackson, starting from June 25, 2009, the day Michael Jackson died.

CNN has learned that Katherine Jackson has not received any of the money ordered for her because of a judgment in a lawsuit nearly two decades ago.

A South Korean newspaper, the Segye Times, sued Michael Jackson in 1990, claiming he failed to perform at a series of concerts they had already paid him for. The lawsuit also named Katherine Jackson, Joe Jackson and another one of their sons, Jermaine Jackson.

Michael Jackson's lawyers reached an out-of-court settlement with the newspaper, but his parents and brother did not. When they failed to fight it in court, a California judge issued a $4 million summary judgment against them, which has now grown with interest to about $8 million, according to court papers.

PS3 is region free for games but not Blu Ray or DVD. I believe publishers can choose to make things region free, but whilst a good chunk of game publishers do including Sony themselves, most movie publishing companies do not.

This is correct - the bluray and dvd on ps3 is region coded. Thus in Australia I can't get the Bluray til march.

Thankfully i have a multiregion dvd player - so i have ordered the dvd set to arrive next week - sadly it is likely to arrive on the day i was meant to be seeing MJ in concert at the o2.

When they failed to fight it in court, a California judge issued a $4 million summary judgment against them, which has now grown with interest to about $8 million, according to court papers.

I really don´t know what to think of this. I won´t deny that I would love to see the kids, on the other hand, I know that Mike would be turning in his grave knowing how his kids are being exposed now. I would be very surprised if Katherine aproved of them appearing and they really showed up.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Michael Jackson - Dr. Murray Set to be Charged
Posted Jan 29th 2010 3:30AM by TMZ Staff

The D.A. is ready to charge Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson ...multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Our sources tell TMZ members of the D.A.'s office -- including Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley -- have already met about filing a criminal case against Dr. Murray.

Members of the LAPD still have not met with the D.A. to present the case, however, our sources say the deputy D.A. assigned to the case -- David Walgren -- has worked closely with LAPD detectives on the case, is intimately familiar with the investigation, has all the LAPD investigative notes and has already briefed Cooley and others in the office.

We're told Dr. Murray could be charged with involuntary manslaughter as early as next week.
