This was just an advert from Billboard magazine after the album became a hit, but looking at how he did do a similar photoshoot, I'm thinking he may have considered changing the cover early on [Edited 1/14/10 4:30am] Oh so they only decided to make this the cover on the reissue? I wonder why, though I do much prefer this photoshoot. The afro just doesnt match the era [Edited 1/14/10 4:53am] When the album came out, he had the 'fro (He did the photoshoot and recorded the album while on the Destiny Tour) The cover stayed the same until the early 90s when they started using the lower part as the main cover. The shoot he did with the short hair was just for promotion, or perhaps he was thinking of changing it then. In Japan, they recently re-released Off The Wall with the original cover "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

http://icelandicmusic.blo...-2003.html Michael Jackson, Santa Barbara, California : I have always loved and admired your creativity. Nature's struggle to survive alongside mankind has been an inspiration for me: given the natural beauty of your Icelandic homeland, how does nature inspire your work?
Björk : I hope this doesn't sound too naff, but being alone in nature, especially after walking for hours, just puts you in your place and you realise how small you are and how plenty of everything is all around you. Then you just let go and surrender, become part of it. I'm so chuffed you asked me a question! I have to say you're the best, keep fighting and it angers me how cruel everybody is to you. It's like in the US right now, it's illegal to be an eccentric. Maybe people would have been more understanding if you were a contemporary of Ludwig II of Bavaria, who comissioned Wagner and lived with the swans. I listen to Butterflies off your last album all the time. You are a true artist! Thanks for fighting and believing in magic even though the rest of the world have forgotten about it. Thanks for posting. I like Bjork. I´d love to see this interview as well, if it was recorded. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

VH1 and VH1.com will air the exclusive world premiere of Michael Jackson's "They Don't Really Care About Us" music video on Tuesday, January 19th at 10pm. On Saturday, January 23rd at 10pm, VH1 will also exclusively premiere a new 30-minute original special, "All Access: Making 'Michael Jackson's This Is It,'" including never-before-seen footage from the concert rehearsal.
The 30-minute special will take viewers behind the scenes of the making of "Michael Jackson's This Is It" tour prior to his untimely passing. I was just in my car grooving to "Remember The Time". After it ended, the DJ came on and said, "That was the late, great Michael Jackson!"
It's been almost 7 months and I'm still not used to hearing that. It still makes me sad. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.
