do anybody else find it disturbing and disrespectful that the image awards nominated mj's memorial service for an award in the best 'variety' category?

i can see were they're coming from cause of the performances but it's disrespectful. that was to honor the memory of someone. it wasnt't supposed to be some sort of show.

I don't know what that's about. It's only disrespectful, but common sense not to tape a funeral and nominate it for an award. Not unless he's alive eek .

MOL

Prosecutors, police departments and investigators in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara spent millions of dollars, convened two grand juries and probed nearly 200 witnesses that included 30 children, who knew Jackson to try to substantiate the charge. Not a single corroborating witness was found. Nonetheless, a motley group of disgruntled Jackson's former housekeepers, attendants and bodyguards still peddled the story to any media outlet willing to shell out the cash that Jackson had engaged in child sexual wrongdoing. Not one of the charges was confirmed. Typical was this exchange between one of Jackson's attorneys and one of the accusing bodyguards under oath:

"So you don't know anything about Mr. Jackson and [the boy], do you?" "All I know is from the sworn documents that other people have sworn to."

"But other than what someone else may have said, you have no firsthand knowledge about Mr. Jackson and [the boy], do you?"

"That's correct."

"Have you spoken to a child who has ever told you that Mr. Jackson did anything improper with the child?"

"No."

"Where did you get your impressions about Jackson's behavior?"

"Just what I've been hearing in the media and what I've experienced with my own eyes."

"Okay. That's the point. You experienced nothing with your own eyes, did you?"

"That's right, nothing."

Just a thought...read the FBI files. At least, that's what I advise every person who still thinks Jackson was a paedophile.

Question: Did Michael not attend a VMA show untill the 1994 Lisa Marie kiss one?

I find that incredibly strange

Oh, and was that 1993 Grammy's show the last one he went to as well?!

Not sure if it was posted, but

Michael Jackson to have new Neverland theme park built in his honour
Exclusive By Danielle Lawler

Michael Jackson is to be honoured with the Disney World-style theme park he always dreamed of.
The attraction is set to be created in his native Gary in Indiana, complete with a replica of his controversial Neverland Ranch. Developers are planning to cash in on the King of Pop's legacy by including a golf course, museum, 300-room hotel and a performing arts centre.
A Thriller roller coaster is also in the pipeline.
Theme park operations agent Odie Anderson said: "We will begin construction of the facilities this year.
"We have set aside a specific date, tied to a special Jackson event, for the ground breaking."
The singer's 2,600-acre Neverland Ranch in California also had two railways and a zoo.
Jacko died aged 50 in June just after announcing a comeback tour.

If it's true, I don't even care. Michael left that place in 2005.

They didn't. This was just an advert from Billboard magazine after the album became a hit, but looking at how he did do a similar photoshoot, I'm thinking he may have considered changing the cover early on

Oh so they only decided to make this the cover on the reissue? I wonder why, though I do much prefer this photoshoot. The afro just doesnt match the era

Anyone else really love She Got It from the Dangerous sessions??

It's so raw and funky and MJ sounds like he's having so much fun. Something about this track evokes a very strong early 80s Prince influence. I'm not sure if that was deliberate or not.

Anyone else diggin this song???
