Dang thats when it came out? So I was just 1 year old and I remember that??? Maybe my father was playing the record a few years later around the house and thats how I remember... eek

Really??!! I did not know. Imma dig it out right now, the Best of Jeffrey Osborne. Great bassline in that one.

Yep,it was the fall/winter of '83 lol


Jeffrey had a (slight) disagreement with his record label.He wanted "Stay With Me Tonight" to be the first single,but his label chose another song ("Don't You Get So Mad About It") instead,releasing "Stay..." as the follow-up.
