I read on in this forum last week that someone was a big fan of Raphael Saadiq and he was a prick both times they met him. I'm glad I've never had that experience with someone I like.

did somebody seriously say thicke was the best blue eyed soul singer? he isn't even close to Lisa Stansfield,let alone legends like McDonald, Teena Marie, George Michaels or Hall & Oates.

As much as I want to like Thicke, his songwriting is pedestrian at best. He has the talent but needs to educate himself on the art of songwriting. None of his songs can hold up to Been Around The World, Careless Whispers, She's Gone, Sarah's Smile, Square Biz or If I Were A Bell.
