Whitney Houston wants Prince in the new issue of instyle magazine, there is a short answer Q&A with whitney. the final question is "who would you like to work with?" and the answer she gave was (of course) "prince".
ain't she a little too cracky for him?

they are both really good at building up their fans and letting them down, though. so there are similarities. prince can still perform though, whenever he gets around to it... whenever i see whitney perform its like same ol same ol.

Whaaaaat!? When? Dion worked with a new team of writers and producers on her eponymous album. Five songs were written by Diane Warren. "With This Tear" was a gift from Prince who wrote the song especially for Céline Dion and offered it to her. The tracks were produced mainly by Walter Afanasieff, Ric Wake and Guy Roche. Thanks to Celine Dion, the singer was nominated also for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. [Edited 12/20/09 16:40pm]

She has wanted to work with him from the early days.
I remember reading an interview with her in a mag called STAR HITS (way back when she was on her first or second album) and she said the same then.

This is not new. Whitney has wanted to work with Prince for years and I believe Prince at one time wanted to do something for Whitney. Even in one of Prince's video's...the most beautiful girl in the world...one of those women looked and had mannerisms just like whitney.

I would never want Prince to write a song for me. Prince is career posion. As long as he just writes songs for himself he's okay. [Edited 12/21/09 3:44am] I'm in the mood for love...simply because your near me.

[Edited 12/21/09 3:44am] Co-sign 100! And beside, writing a song with a 'certain artist' in mind is not exactly one of Prince's talents(hence the GARBAGE material he threw on people like Chaka, Patti, Mavis and so forth). I think the only people who didn't get the raw deal as far as his material's concerned, are his protegees.

One of the few decent tracks on the album. Andy is a four letter word.

I like it I'd love to hear Celine or vintage Whitney sing Goodbye.. One minute they want peace……

It´s so beautiful, heavenly. Thanks for posting. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Many of them still have a cult following but not crossover success. Wendy and Lisa are the only two that have been successful, and they have a cult following, etc. [Edited 12/21/09 12:40pm] [Edited 12/21/09 17:38pm] [Edited 12/21/09 17:39pm] I'm in the mood for love...simply because your near me.

You cannot blame Prince's penning a song to someones failed career. Either you've got the goods or you don't [Edited 12/22/09 4:22am]
