The double standard is amazing. Why is there no public outcry over this? Many females are celebrating her smacking and punching her husband - but if the tables were turned he would've been arrested. Eff the bullshit, arrest Mary Jane Blige for assault. I hope that justice prevails and her new album suffers as a result of this, hell it is good anyway, her last three albums have been a bit tepid - she has lost her edgyness on record. If the tables were turned MJB would be dead. What public outcry should there be? He is rumored to have disrespected his marriage vows and to have done so in public. It's different if she just had a mental episode and went to wailing on him for no reason but if this is an authentic domestic dispute over a potentially cheating spouse then dude wont' get much sympathy from anyone. And it aint like she CB'd him really. This appears to be more about her making a spectacle of herself than actually hurting anyone. You don't know that. Rihanna isn't dead . . . . I don't understand the defense of her being violent . . . . IF he were cheating, that's still no reason to assault him. There are better ways to handle it. Who flirts in front of their wife and her family? He can't be that stupid, it's not like he won't have opportunities if that's his intent. I don't want you to think like me. In terms of the "outrage", I think that if most women could inflict the amount of damage that most men can in a physical fight, there would be equal amounts of "outrage". Because I told you in another thread, my parents had 9 children.They were married, both worked and did a pretty good job raising their kids together. Stayed married, until my Dad's death in 1984, and he loved his wife and kids.
Some men need to be reminded who brought them into this world, carried them for 9 months and nurtured them and raised them. Don't they realize that if they hear another man degrading females he's probably including their mother as well in the mix? A mother is the first woman a man sees upon birth. I also have never heard any of my brothers talk bad about women, and they are all very outspoken. You have a lot of men today that would run and whine that they can't support one kid that they brought into this world, and once again, blame the woman they had the child with. But what was their excuse? Did they forget how to put on a condom if they didn't want to have kids, but want to let the snake out their pants to play? Wrap the sh*t up if you don't want kids. At any point a man is having sex, he should always be aware that there is a strong possibility the woman they sleep with, could get pregnant, but once again, it's the female's fault if she does get pregnant, as though she impregnated herself.
