It's just more common in urban areas, you know this to be true.. Thats rich Hell, it must apply to me then, since I'm from the "urban areas" as well. Reading your comments, I think the CLOSEST thing you've seen from an "urban area" came from Fox news. Turn down that "stupid box" and walk in those urban areas instead,,,you'd be surprised.

Sorry Timmy. I'm sure more info will come by Monday lol That's OK, but see this is why you should never give shit-starters the attention. Just pretend some fig fell off a tree instead of a branch hitting the car. The latter feeling is how I'm getting from people's reactions to guy's posts.

It's just more common in urban areas, you know this to be true.. You apparently have never watched Jerry Springer's show. Anyway....I didn't see a punch or a slap in that video. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

I hope she didn't actually attack him like these stories claim. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

MJB got those shades on again..
"She wears her sunglasses at night... So she can, so she can..." ...pop you in the face while you sit in dis-grace... She has pretty eyes underneath those shades though.. YHWH is Elohim and Yahoshua is King.

I thought MJB's camp was denying this story. I doubt her husband would just out of the blue flirt with a waitress and do it when he's out with her. This story wreaks of bull

You know what makes that video hard to decipher? That bodyguard is blocking what is going on so it makes it look like nothing happened, it ain't really clear if there was a hit. But Mary's brother can be seen confronting him after Mary was pulled away from Kendu.

that's the only part that's clear. eh...this probably a carry over argument from something that happened the day before.

"Stronger with Each Tear?" Isn't that the type of stuff she was doing like 15 years ago? I thought she got past all this mess long ago.
...Anyway, I don't know what to make of this story: A guy supposedly stupid enough to be all over a waitress at his famous wife's premier party. Quotes that don't match up. Video -- both on the floor and in a private corridor -- of some nondescript event. Just seems fishy. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

HYPE HYPE HYPE same shit different day. I can see some "post reporter" saying "whats a good buyline" ....."Dont pull a chris brown stunt, that'll sell". Lets be honest, who would even care about this incident? Im so glad i dont go to these record release parties anymore, for the most part, there's always some sort of incident, and whats with all the security? Your Mary J and Isaac, not Brad and Angelina. And notice the asshole jumping in to stop it, thats usually the guy that inflames the situation.
And that white chick behind him is probably the one who sold her story....."ummm yeah i think i heard chris brown mentioned and a punch flew" [Edited 12/27/09 7:29am] "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

It's sad if there is any violence going on between the two of them. She often spoke so highly of her husband even saying he helped get off of the booze. Then again...maybe she is just a cash cow to him and she's finally waking up to it.
I will say this (on the women as DV perpetrators), while it's wrong and unhealthy for men and women to hit each other, men don't generally die from bare fisted hits by their women whereas women generally die from bare fisted hits by their men. I think that's why we have the double standard about domestic abuse...because more often it's the women who end up dead.

Mary J. Blige Explains Husband Slap December 28, 2009 Mary J. Blige wants to damp down the drama over that fight at her record release party Tuesday night. Contrary to claims that the hip-hop diva punched her husband, Kendu Isaacs, at a Chelsea club, Blige tells the Daily News she was simply trying to stop a brawl between Isaacs and her brother. "Mary was not fighting with her husband," said Blige spokeswoman Karynne Tencer. "Her husband and her brother got into an altercation that turned into a fight. Mary went to break up the fight." Tencer didn't immediately know the name of Blige's brother or the reason for the row. Club security helped the Grammy Award winner pull the men apart, who also disputed reports that Isaacs' lip was bleeding. "Nobody was bleeding," Tencer said. Blige also denied she angrily compared Isaacs with notorious R&B star Chris Brown, who belted girlfriend Rihanna in February. "She never mentioned Chris Brown," Tencer said. "Mary and Kendu went home together." Blige had hoped the public wouldn't hear about the ugly scene at M2 Ultralounge, where she was celebrating her new album, "Stronger with Each Tear." But after sources claimed she had smacked Isaacs because he was supposedly flirting with a waitress, Blige decided to set the record straight, Tencer said. The publicist said the couple is celebrating Christmas with their three children on the East Coast. "They're as happy as can be," Tencer said. http://www.nydailynews.co...z0b2Kjt0Qe

Lies, spin, p.r. machine at work. Mary J. Blige is a hoodrat type gangsta bit**, always has been, and always will be, period.
The double standard is amazing. Why is there no public outcry over this? Many females are celebrating her smacking and punching her husband - but if the tables were turned he would've been arrested. Eff the bullshit, arrest Mary Jane Blige for assault. I hope that justice prevails and her new album suffers as a result of this, hell it is good anyway, her last three albums have been a bit tepid - she has lost her edgyness on record. If the tables were turned MJB would be dead. What public outcry should there be? He is rumored to have disrespected his marriage vows and to have done so in public. It's different if she just had a mental episode and went to wailing on him for no reason but if this is an authentic domestic dispute over a potentially cheating spouse then dude wont' get much sympathy from anyone. And it aint like she CB'd him really. This appears to be more about her making a spectacle of herself than actually hurting anyone.

I think you have to take more things into consideration. Mary is pretty much done with her heyday. It is indeed a double standard that women get away with shit a man can't but you can't even see a blow or slap in the video shown. Perhaps it would be an outcry if she had actually beat the shit out of him like CB did Rihanna.
