It does look like Mary was trying to slap and punch him but I don't think there was impact, if it was, it was quick. Some stuff are rubbish from The Post's words: COME ON NOW, "you gonna Chris Brown me!?" That's clearly MADE UP. And the stories are confusing, so if we were to believe this, Mary & Kendu had to have fought over Mary's brother and Mary was defending her brother. If her once-close sister had tagged along and Kendu had fought with her, Mary would've been in Kendu's face too. But it's just wrong to embarrass yourself like that as Mary and Kendu did. Just hope they work it out.

Just sounds like a publicity stunt to me, a big bust up at her own record release party? "Don't pull a Chris Brown stunt?"... seems like the biggest scripted stunt since the Kanye West fiasco!

No, I didn't see any punch or slap. I slowed the video down and did not see it. I did see some movement on her part but not an acual slap or punch.

It appears there was indeed a situation there ..lol

In terms of the "outrage", I think that if most women could inflict the amount of damage that most men can in a physical fight, there would be equal amounts of "outrage". But one slap does NOT compare to an asswhoopin' - come on, folks. It's still wrong to raise your hand to anyone, but lets not act like this is the same situation as Brown/Rihanna

The R&B singer Case (whose used to date Mary J back in the day) said in an interview earlier this year that Mary used to put hands on him and scratch him all up with her nails, and he never even hit her. When she was with K-Ci of Jodeci, she was crying "victim" but probably cause he didn't take that shit from her.

Mary is a great singer, but she's all about drama - thats always been her theme in music and her real life. Even with all of her success, she still acts like a hood rat
