Updated w/Video Don't pull a Chris Brown stunt, Mary J. Blige warns hubby after smacking him

SEASONS BEATINGS!!!

Mary J. Blige punched husband Kendu Isaacs in the face at her record release party at club M2 Tuesday night. The singer slugged Isaacs, drawing blood, after she thought he was flirting with a waitress. "She turned to him and was screaming, 'You're not going to ruin my night,' " our witness says. "They got up in each other's faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face." The source said Blige, Isaacs and their entourage were whisked through a door to the attached club Pink, which was closed. Our witness relates, "She was yelling at him, 'What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?' Four of her bodyguards and two of the club's kept them apart." Isaacs was kicked out. Blige went to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup, but soon fled, creating an uncomfortable scene for partygoers Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Busta Rhymes. Her rep said only, "People lie and don't know what they're talking about."

Don't pull a Chris Brown stunt, Mary J. Blige warns hubby after smacking him

Hip-Hop diva Mary J. Blige smacked her husband for checking out a waitress at her CD release party this week and warned him, "You ain't going Chris Brown on me," witnesses said.

The "No More Drama" songstress lashed out at hubby Kendu Isaacs at the Tuesday night party at the M2 Ultralounge in Chelsea, witnesses said.

One partygoer told the Daily News that the 38-year-old Grammy winner flew into a jealous rage because Isaacs was paying too much attention to a waitress at the club.

"Mary hauled off and smacked him," the source said.

Blige then warned Isaacs not to even think about retaliating. "She said, 'You ain't going to go Chris Brown on me, are you?'" according to a source.

Brown beat up ex-girlfriend Rihanna in June after she caught him reading a text from an old flame. The now-infamous incident led to Brown pleading guilty to felony assault charges.

Blige, who is promoting her new album "Stronger With Each Tear," denied Wednesday night that the incident with her husband took place.

"They're as happy as can be," spokeswoman Karynne Tencer said. "They're spending the holidays together with their three children. Everything's great."

A friend of Blige suggested that some "haters" at the club may have "misunderstood a joke Mary and Kendu were sharing."

If this is true, it's unfortunate. Grown people should keep their damn hands to themselves.

Coming from someone famous, he made a behind whipping a household name, and you can thank the media for it.

In today's western culture, its accepted for women to hit men, even though its just as wrong. Its excused and or ignored. Chances are, she won't even really get called out for her "abuse".

It's a high double standard of abuse. I think it's an unspoken "Well if he's such a pussy to let a chick hit him....HA HA on him" sort of mentality. However, there is a huge problem with abusive wives and girlfriends. I won't go into the WHY of it. I wonder though, if Oprah would rise up with her chant about "If he hits you once, he'll hit you again" thing when it comes to women. My money says No, she wouldn't.

No, Mary should NEVER have hit her husband or anyone else. Girl's getting too big for her panties.

I agree.

I like Mary, but women don't have any more right to hit men than vice versa. A lot of women tend to think they can get away with hitting men, which is not right at all. People need to keep their hands to themselves period.

The video doesn't lie, and even Jesus can see that. She was the aggressor, whatever she did. People don't get between a husband and wife after a harsh action like that unless.....well, unless it was unduly harsh.
