I know Quincy called him in personally on a couple of sessions--Including George Benson's Gimme the Night--but I think that case was an emergency session to do re-do a section of guitar line when Benson wasn't available, whereas Rit was constantly getting the call on the Brothers Johnson sessions--y'know when you actually needed some 'Lightning Licks' biggrin confused confuse disbelief nod

'Winners' is a solid album.It's the first album that they produced themselves (without Quincy's help) and I think they did a superb job.

I agree, it's one of my favorites from them.. but I know a lotta fans didn't like it, because they felt it was too Pop and Rock, and not enough Funk...it got very good critical reviews, but it was their first album that didn't go Platinum....
