Most artists are bad live nowadays. Rihanna sounds okay on record. And I think it's great that she's not lipsyncing like a lot of other artists. At least she tries. Remember a smile is the quickest way to improve your apperance... | |

Lamest excuse for this broad EVER. Many artists sing. Chicks like Rihanna and Ciara don't have strong voices but in Ciara's defense, she dances her ass off, which makes her more entertaining than lame Rihanna "Def Jam pop fluff" Fenty. She's just a hair cut mannequin who doesn't write, can't sing worth a damn and can't dance. If not for her tracks, which she has nothing to do with, she'd have been gone. Rihanna is Ashanti of the late 2000s. The difference? Ashanti buckled down and finally learned how to sing better. Rihanna is coasting off her looks, other people' music, some stylists' hard work and Def Jam's budget. | |

Someone posted on some Youtube clip saying Rihanna looked like she's daydreaming and that's exactly what she does look like! She just never really seems to be in the moment. Rihanna keeps looking so utterly bored that there's absolutely no joy in seeing her on stage. Where's the fire, the passion, the fun??? Her eyes are always half shut, I'm constantly afraid she's literally gonna fall asleep. | |

She is absolutely gorgeous and nice to look at, but that vid and song are just terrible.
I dont know what a director is thinking with machine guns and what not. Nothing can help sell this awful song, and Rihanna is not the most charismatic person or best singer, but if you are going to have someone as stunning as Rihanna in a vid, just place the camera in front of her and get out of the way, she is all the special effects you need.
