More and more I think this may be their best album. There's more creepy sounding stuff, which I like, plus really solid songwriting. Jim's voice is great; the music is more complex, finding different fragrances. Yes, The River Knows has the saddest guitar solo I have ever heard. You need a hug after that one. Spanish Caravan, wow. The Unknown Soldier? Creeps me out. Makes me crawl under the covers.
