I enjoy their remixes. Thunderpuss started to sound all alike after a while; I'm not a fan of Tracy Young either. Freemasons do good mixes though, I agree. I like Maurice Joshua. I still enjoy Jonathan Peters, and most of Jason Nevins stuff. There are always classics like Frankie Knuckles, Tony Moran, David Morales, etc.

I'm not a fan of their work for some reason. I think it's all of the sound effects that work my nerves. Also, they tend to start and stop a bit too much for me.

Maurice Joshua has been my favorite for the last few years.

I wasn't that familiar with the Freemasons until I got the remix for Luther Vandross' "Shine". I was so upset that they didn't let Maurice remix it. I then got the promo cd for "In My Mind" from Heather Headley. It was a much better remix, but nothing I would write home about.

Freemasons have a Club Mix of "Deja Vu" for Beyonce that is stellar. (No rapping either.) I used it in an 80 minute "mix tape" I made for the gym.

I have that mix and it is ok to me, but I just can't stand all of the echo and effects. It works my last nerve after about 3 minutes of it.

Love them. They're always so unashamedly "hands in the air".

Yep, they are the new Thunderpuss. It was time for them to end though. Alot of their stuff had started to sound similar. I still miss the old days though...I used to love Cliviles and Cole. Those were the days.
