Boy George needs to quit. He should go away and leave us with the beautiful memories of the 80's and the 90's when he could sing and wrote good songs.
Between his horrible voice and the bad dated arrangement of this song, it's just awful. He needs to accept no one wants to hear from him anymore. He needs to get a talk show or something. | |

On the contrary, people want that voice back. I'm not sure how rushed this song was, but the vocal is horrible. Both Georges (Boy and Michael) had two of the best voices in the industry. GM has maintained his voice, although he did skip a few very high notes on his London DVD. Boy has just wrecked himself inside and out. I'm not sure I'd want to hear him have 42 minutes of scratch voice while asking someone "how are you doing now?" after admitting they were raped by their father or something. He'd be like an old yenta from Long Island. | |

But his voice is permanently damaged. It's not coming back, When I said no one wants to hear from him anymore, I meant no one wants to hear him how he sounds now. He obviously can't sing anymore, so he should do a talk show.
Boy George has proven himself to be a very nasty person who has spent most of the time having a go at other artists rather than maintaining his own talent. I used to be a fan of BG, but he just wore out his welcome for me with all his bitchy rudeness. I saw GM live and agree his voice is still wonderful. Yes, he missed a few of the higher notes but his voice is basically the same as the old records. | |
