Do Family Acts Still Exist?

Seems like with every decade, there are fewer and fewer new family acts.

For example, in the 1970's you had the Sylvers, Jackson 5, Osmonds, DeFranco Family, etc. You, couldn't turn around, without hearing about a new family act, on television, etc. Or, reading about them in Right On! Magazine or Tiger Beat. Same could be said about the 1980's. Then, you had such groups as DeBarge, etc. After that, you rarely hear about family acts, new or old.

What happened? Have they gone out of style? And, if not where are they?

I thought this would be an interesting topic. This is my first time starting a topic, so please bear with me.

Thank you all for your responses. I didn't know that the two kids in Kriss Kross were related. Are they brothers, cousins, etc.? Heard something about Tito Jackson's son forming a group called "3T". Tito mentioned them on the reality show "The Jackson 5 Dynasty". I think he said they were having trouble and might split up. Not sure. Also, there was a video of them singing with Micheal, on YouTube. But, it's not there anymore. It was good.

I was obviously wrong about Kriss Kross and 3T... are you joking? That band was from 1996. They had one UK hit only, the Michael Jackson horrible duet 'Why' which made it to #2 and then they dissapeared without a trace

I think people started to realize how messed up family acts tend to become, so they are more looked down upon now.
