After hearing that Ashley Tisdale had a CD on the "Album Of The Decade" list, I gave up on these stupid ass things, especially from RS or Billboard.

Was this song THE best, or ONE of the best? Cuz "Hey Ya" was 100x bigger than "Crazy" ever was. EVAR. I'm not big Outkast fan or anything, but let's call a spade a spade here.

Bigger, and better. Not outstanding, but it's preferable to listen to, for me, than "Crazy". It was catchy, Polaroid got a big boost from it (HA!), the video was interesting and well done w/ multiple clones and composite shots, etc. I just don't remember much of "Crazy". I only remember Gnarles Barkely always dressing up as some dynamic duo in pop culture. I can't name another song by them.

wholeheartedly agree, not many songs released this decade is as instantly memorable.
Rehab and Toxic to me also come close.
There really wasn't much good this decade, no "serious" artists had any breakout songs, so to me these three pop songs are head over heals better than most stuff released this decade.

Excellent song, but right off the top of my head I'd say anything off The Rainbow Children, and most of Musicology top it

Crazy and Hey Ya are both brilliant, definately my top two of the decade with perhaps Ms Jackson coming in third (or did that come out in '99?).

It's amazing to think that Ceelo (singer from Gnarls Barkley) and Andre 3000 actually knew each other virtually from childhood and went on to make these two decade defining songs independently of each other. Must be something in the water!

Nah. I honestly don't even remember how it goes, off the top of my head. It doesn't have the structural brilliance and groundbreaking lyricism of The Thong Song or Laffy Taffy.

The Brainblow Children and Suckacology...lol

Crazy is the Purple Rain or Pop Life of the 2000s. Hey Ya is the When Doves Cry. Rehab is Little Red Corvette. Matters what songs of P's you think are stronger..lol

Roses may be better than Hey Ya. Their Erotic City.

Then there's prototype, man. The Condition of the Heart of the 2000s. lol
All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

these songs have no resemblance to any of those prince songs. when you look at the arrangments or chord stucture.

but they are all indeed genius songs... i love anything that andre puts his hands on... but on the level pf prince... nosa
