My friend, the same one who bought me a Vizio 37" HDTV and Vizio BluRay player, surprised me today with Season One and Season Two of FAME the TV series!

Season One was released a few years ago by Sony, but it never went anywhere after that. The distribution rights switched back to the original production company of MGM. They licensed it to 20th Century Fox for repackaging and distribution. Season One and Two were released back in September for the movie. The two 4-disk sets also come packaged together (with Debbie Allen on the front). I have them separately. They're at WalMart, among other places.

Oddly, Amazon.com lists Season Two as a 2010 release date, yet here I hold it in my hand. Weird.
