Which Artist Has The Most Songs On Your Mp3 Player? List your Top 5 and the number of songs they have on your device. These can include duplicate titles where remixes, edits, and other versions of a song are included. I do realize that the numbers may be more than what someone might list due to some artists being included on various artist compilations, which would result in some of their songs being listed under "various artists" and not their own artist name. If you want to take the time to count an aritst's various artist songs, by all means, do so:
1. Donna Summer - 424 2. Madonna - 100 3. Janet Jackson - 82 4. Whitney Houston - 74 5. Michael Jackson - 52

I've been adding songs to iTunes lately, and deleting duplicates (like The Jewel Box, since everything is on The Work anyway). I added over 320 tracks last night. I haven't resynced my iPod (40 gig) yet. I only have about 18 gigs taken up on it.
But it's fair to say that there's always a lot of Madonna, Janet, Prince, Barry Manilow.....just lots of stuff.

I have a 160gig Ipod and its only half full with between 12,000-13,000 songs.
Prince is no.1 of course with 1500 or so Does anyone know how I could check what th e next most popular artisst is on my ipod. Is there a function to ask for? I'm thinking it may be Rolling Stones but is there a way to do a count without having to type in the artists?

In the search bar, you just type any artist's name and, in the status bar at the bottom, it shall tell you how many songs you have of said artist . [Edited 12/19/09 13:42pm]
