Barry White - The Man

I recently acquired Barry White's albums, including the 3 or 4 Love Unlimited Orchestra albums. I love some Barry music, but wasn't familiar with all of it. That man put out a LOT of music, sometimes two albums a year.

I was going through some misc popular songs of his. I had set out to just hit the popular ones to have something to listen to, but I got distracted. I got to doing something else, and just let whatever album play. I was never bored or irritated. I guess in short, I was pleasantly surprised.

You hear big hits by folks, popular songs, but you never quite know what lies between on those albums. So far, with Barry, it's been a good surprise. There's a LOT of material to go through, too. I've found myself playing the Can't Get Enough album a lot so far. I will eventually make it through the 188 songs I have.

Harlepolis

Gene Page love one of my FAVE conductors ever.

I think Gene was to Barry what Claire Fisher was to Prince nod they were a powerful team.

In fact the LUO albums made me go back and check...
