Singer/songwriter Meshell Ndegeocello will perform a handful of intimate California club shows this winter behind her recent album, "Devil's Halo."

The German-born multi-instrumentalist will begin the West Coast trek, dubbed "The Best of Bitter & More," Feb. 10 in San Diego, followed by three Los Angeles shows (2/11, 2/18, 2/25) and a two-night stand in Oakland (2/16-2/17), the second night of which will be dedicated to covers. Details are included below.


The forthcoming outing will feature guitarist Chris Bruce, bassist Mark Kelley, drummer Deantoni Parks and keyboardist Keefus Ciancia.

"Devil's Halo," Ndegeocello's eighth studio set and first for Mercer Street Records, surfaced in October and follows her 2007 release, "The World Has Made Me the Man of My Dreams."

The 10-time Grammy nominee co-produced the new album alongside guitarist Chris Bruce.

More dates will be added in the coming weeks, according to a press release.
