Rihanna will play a tour of U.K. arenas in May 2010.

The Live-Nation promoted tour will call at eight U.K. venues including the O2 Arena in London.

The Barbadian R&B artist recently launched her new album, "Rated R" (SRP/Def Jam), in the U.K. with a Nov. 16 show at the O2 Academy Brixton featuring guest spots from Jay-Z and Young Jeezy.



The U.K. tour dates are:

Liverpool Echo Arena | Saturday 08 May
The O2, London | Monday 10 May
Sheffield Arena | Thursday 13 May
Nottingham Trent FM Arena | Friday 14 May
Manchester MEN Arena | Sunday 16 May

Glasgow SECC | Wednesday 19 May



Tickets go on sale on Dec. 11.
