Jeff Beck signs with Rhino Records Guitar legend Jeff Beck has signed with Rhino Records (a part of Warner Brothers Music Divison).
His first release is due mid-March 2010. This will mark Beck's first studio album 2003's album titled JEFF. For his entire career, dating back to The Yardbirds (where he was a member for 18 months), he has been signed to Epic Records. The assciation with Epic offcially ended in 2004. Beck's new album is being produced by Trevor Horn and Steve Lipson. To support the album Beck is doing a world tour that will include some co-headline dates with Eric Clapton (in London, NY and Canada). Beck recently received his 10th Grammy nomination for "A Day In The Life" as Best Instrumental Rock Performance. He hs won 4 Grammys thus far in his career. His dvd PERFORMING THIS WEEK...Live at Ronnie Scott's, has spent over 39 weeks on the Billboard Chart (including a stay a #1), and has been certified gold or platinum in the USA, Japan and Canada. On his tour, which begins in February at the O2 Arena in London, Beck will be accompanied by drummer Vinnie Colaiuta; keyboardist Jason Rebello and bass guitarist Tal Wilkenfeld.
