Songs You Listen To When You Are Sad And/Or Need A Good Cry

Yeah, I know we've done the, "What Songs Make You Cry" threads already. lol But I'm curious to see what songs people listen to when they're feeling lonely/sad/depressed/whatever.

This song makes me absolutely BAWL, but I LOVE it! bawl The piano, the melody, the way Kate sings it is gorgeous! mushy Please don't tell me, "Maxwell does a much better version of that song", or I will have to slap you. lol

Another song that makes me absolutely BAWL, but anoother song I love. Plus, George looks HOT in that video, which helps. lol

A great song to be played during a father/daughter dance at a wedding. I would not be able to make it through this song without crying. lol

Reminds me of my grandparents and other people I have known who have passed on. sigh
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Another good song. I don't even care that much for Prince's version of this song, to be honest. boxed Bonnie does the best version of this song, hands down. I read that while recording this song Bonnie kept breaking down and crying, and they had to start over again. I believe it, this song just gets you right in the heart. sad

Reading Harlepolis and missfee's posts made me think of two more songs:

"Lovin You" by Billie Holiday (I could not find a video on Youtube). omfg err

And this one:

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Can't post it because I'm at work, but the entire "Bitter" CD by Meshell. Put that on after a break-up. It'll make you call out of work for a week.

Who Wants to Live Forever - Queen
Gregorio Allegri's Miserere (don't know why)

Not many songs make me cry out of sadness more than once, but sometimes I cry at the perfection of certain music. It can be the happiest song in the world and I find myself driven to tears by its beauty. neutral falloff

Another great one is Prince's Purple Rain, The guitar solo sad Masterpiece.
