Nice clip. This is why they don't need to wait around for each other. Just get to work. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

It upsets me that they didn't do any more performances following that album's release.

Right if the fucking Osmonds did it why couldn't they? People stop thinking of Donny when the Osmonds continued, I don't know why they were too scared to do it without Michael. They can do it now but they rather do a reality show, I don't get that.

I keep saying it, The brothers can make so much money if they release those got damn DVD's and some unreleased material I asked them on Twitter. Them muthafuckas better reply! They have a goldmine sitting in storage Destiny Tour Triumph Tour Victory Tour unreleased videos and songs hell, they could do a "Jackson Family Home Videos" series and I'd watch it :hi5: "we make our heroes in America only to destroy them"

I think they're scared to do it without Michael because Michael was basically the "voice" of the group. He was on pretty much EVERY song and people are used to that.

Someone to collaborate, bounce ideas off of or even butt heads with. He is not going to walk into the studio with all that energy and love and give feedback or direction or simply bob his head and snap his fingers. I can't imagine what that might be like. They're not just trying to record without him as a group, they're living without him every day. I'd love to see studio footage of them from the Destiny and Triumph sessions That pic on the sleeve in destiny, with them at the board, has a lot more meaning for now after watching this series. Tito and that big shit-eating grin on his face. I used to always be like why is he so happy? He was in there running thangs. Telling them when they sounded like The Supremes, I suppose. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

True. I've never given much thought to the rumors that he was financially supporting everyone. I can honestly say that I just wantd them to keep doing music and being out there. It just felt weird not having the Jacksons around. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I'm sure they can provide for themselves. It just seems like the brothers, Joe, Katherine and Latoya depended on Michael talent wise, PR and possibly financially. Not that I believed the rumors that all the brothers were broke.

I was enjoying the show in the beginning, the way they covered the aftermath of the death of their sibling, the whole "healing process" was good to see. I wish the show would've stayed on that, moving on as a family, but now the show is about this phantom show and songs they producing and all the back and forth drama between the brothers, it's not just Jermaine either, it's all of them...now I'm just done with the show.
I'm a huge J5/Jacksons fan, been down since 83, but to be very painfully honest, The Jackson 5 as we remember them doesn't exist anymore not just because the passing of Michael, I feel that the Jacksons should have reinvented themselves a long time ago. Years back there was this tv show called the Family Honors, and I saw Jermaine and Tito perform together, it wasn't the Jackson 5 but it was the Jackson Band. That's the direction that they should've continued on. No they weren't going to sell out stadiums like Michael and Janet, but they wouldn't gotten some respect because at the end of the day, it's the music that counts. Last night's episode, I saw Jermaine and Tito jam with the band, and along with Randy on keys, I can clearly see that, a more mature r&b, jazz, rock, pop band. But Jackie and Marlon wants the old Jacksons with the pyro, the dancesteps and the space/rhinestone suits, etc. That was exciting but sadly it won't be the same without Michael.

It seems like they waited until Michaels death to wanna make a comeback. Now I'm aware that they were working on the show before he passed, they should have been trying to reinvent themselves years ago. It's gonna be a problem because it's such short notice. They don't have time to find their "style" musically.

I know what he says and I know what they say but it's just weird. I mean, we're seeing their grandkids and girlfriends and not even a text message from Randy. He's becoming the Bonnie Pointer of the group (minus the disco singles). no, it's not weird really, if you read between the lines or just think about what is clearly the proverbial elephant in the room. this show is as much about what isn't shown or said as what is shown or said. although amy osbourne declined to appear on the family's show, they routinely referred to her existence (most hysterically when kelly was upset that amy apparently made an gynecological exam for appointment for her! too funny!) so why don't the brothers even talk about randy? well, i believe randy made the decision waaaaayyyy before mj's death not be apart of this *and* there's probably some contractual prohibition on the brothers from even mentioning his name. still, to the extent that at least randy and jackie had a working relationship in the jacksons, it would be cool to see that dynamic at work. [Edited 1/11/10 16:08pm] marlon did mention randy when he and jackie were going over the dance steps
