Stevie Wonder @ MGM Garden in Vegas!

Stevie Wonder gave the best concert ever on 11-28-09 at the MGM in Vegas, I was front row center! I was lookin' 4 Prince, but he didn't show.....

Loved reading your blogs about Stevie, Michael Jackson and U2. I had similar experiences with all.

I've seen Stevie several times since 2005. Every time is a memorable experience. All of his band members and family are first class individuals.

I was lucky enough to see Stevie at Madison Square Garden in NYC when Prince came out and jammed with Stevie on Superstition. I am still in shock.

Frankie,
I had been looking on Google for a review of this concert but no luck. But only posted him going to play in Vegas.I glad you had a wonderful time at the show and wish I was there.I saw Stevie two years ago in Baltimore,Maryland and it was a great show.Stevie Wonder never dissapoints;he's the best live performer along with Prince,Earth,Wind & Fire and a few others.I saw your review of the Las Vegas show and the setlist and review itself is amazing. You said you wish this show was a Dvd.Was it filmed?I know he just released Live at Last earlier this year and maybe this show will be released on Dvd,too. My idea of the Las Vegas Dvd will be called "AWonder's Autumn Night"with bonus footgae.Like a documentary,an extra concert from somewhere in the seventies and others.I know I wrote a lot here and that's all for now!Peace!

Daryl,

Thank you my brother for your thoughts. My reason for wishing this show was a DVD is one, Stevie gave the longest and greatest concert this time out of the three times I've seen him! But secondly and most of all, if it does become an autumn night DVD, I'm in it because I was right next to the backstage area singing every word to every song and with Babyface and Mike Tyson sitting near me, I'm sure I was filmed at some point. However I doubt it, the DVD is already out! Most funky on that DVD is Stevie playing the Beatles and Stones on his Yamaha Motif mouth organ! He does:

Hello Goodbye
Fool On The Hill
I Wanna Hold Your Hand
I Can't Get No Satisfaction

The 02 Arena lost their minds!

Yeah, Tony Bennett rehearsed and performed, "For Once In My Life". The crowd reception was excellent, but when people saw Prince walk on stage, it was absolute pandemonium. It is a moment that I will never forget!
