Dan Hartman Rather than jack Timmy84's thread on the Dan Hartman tune Vertigo/Relight My Fire, I figured i'd just do one related to the large body of work he's been involved with.
So here's a quick jaunt through a few of the musical lives of Dan Hartman. Edgar Winter Group (They Only Come Out At Night - 1972) ...Free Ride (writer/bass/guitar) Todd Rundgren - (Initiation - 1975) ...Fair Warning (bass) From his first solo album Images (1976) ...If Only I Were Stronger From the Relight My Fire album (1979)... ...Hands Down (Stevie Wonder on harmonica and Edgar Winter on sax) Loleatta Holloway (1980)... ...Love Sensation (writer/producer/musician) From his 6th solo album of the same name (1984)... ...I Can Dream About You James Brown (Gravity - 1986)... ...Goliath (producer/co-writer/keys) Nona Hendryx (Female Trouble - 1987)... ...Baby Go-Go (producer) Joe Cocker (1987)... ...Unchain My Heart (exec. producer) Tina Turner (Foreign Affair - 1989)... ...Steamy Windows (producer, keys, guitar) Paul Young (1991)... ...Don't Dream It's Over (producer - one of the last projects he worked on) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= He put in some work under a number of hats and this is just an overview. I didn't include any of the soundtracks he was involved in. Music for adventurous listeners tA Tribal Records "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
