It's hard to believe but "High On Sunshine" was cancelled as a single. It still got alot of radio airplay though.A similiar situation happened a year later with "Zoom".It didn't become a single but still received tremendous airplay.

(can people even do that anymore?) i always liked zoom better than easy; zoom is on my shuffle.

I dig this song but I agree withcha regarding "Zoom". "Zoom" is especially bangin' along with my fave cut by them "This Is Your Life". SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I think both of these songs would have been HUGE hits if released as singles, especially "Zoom".It would have followed "Easy",which was a massive hit on the pop and R&B charts.I know it would have been just as big.

Yeah i was actually surprised Zoom wasn't a single. What marketing exec at Motown laid that egg? Loved High on Sunshine. This was one of my Uncle's favorite(R.I.P)who introduced me to the Commodores. Don't laugh at my funk

Yeah, how could they not release a song like "Zoom" as a single? Makes no sense.Thank God that radio stations played it anyway, giving it the attention it deserved.
