Out of curiosity, does anyone know the name of the mix that was played during the Soul Train line?

I Believe that was "Uptown Festival" by Shalamar joshb80 This was a great episode, I wish UPN had showed this one back when they showed Best of Soul Train back in 06-07, I hate how Centric chops up the episodes

I'll admit that other than Roy Ayers' "In The Dark" and Gwen McCrae's "Rockin' Chair", the two have been pretty obscure to me so I can't jump on scriptgirl. But Finess is definately right about music education. I never heard those songs before that Roy Ayers performed but I liked them a lot so now I've got another artist to be on the lookout for in the record stores.
But at least they didn't show another legends episode. However, I've heard some people refer to Roy Ayers as a legend so maybe they did show another legends episode. I'm just glad it wasn't a rerun like last weekend. Can't wait to see next week's episode. Andy is a four letter word.

Especially since the reason they are doing it is so they can show longer commercials. I'm getting tired of seeing that damn rapper that talks like Elmer Fudd during every commercial break.... You're watching....a bwand new netwoik.....Centwick.... Andy is a four letter word.

I do apologize scriptgirl but please do some research before you post. it helps it really does

This board is an excellent place to ask questions and "do research" folks around here are walking encyclopedias.
