Wow Midiscover! you must be into S&M or something because, those latest pics can torture a man at work. I had to check certain areas before I stood up to make sure the coast was clear lol

My two cents: To be honest, Justin has talent. Although I despised his cowardly, selfish act going on what 6 years ago, I can not deny certain abilities he has; such as causing WWIII whenever a statement is given about the incident. Trust me I understand cool

Likewise, Janet can sing. Janet's biggest problem is herself....self-esteem and maybe laziness. When Janet actually projects her voice, she has a lovely soprano tone. Perhaps her latest project will showcase that more. (Wishful thinking, I know.) It also wouldn't hurt to take voice lessons or challenge herself more... just to strengthen what she's got. She's far from talentless. Again, Jan's biggest problem is Jan.

Show me one occasion where he brought it up. He never has. He merely answers the questions when they're asked of him (albeit in a slightly evasive way). I don't know why Janet fans find this concept so hard to grasp. Perhaps because they expect him to emulate Janet's cowardly (and stupid) strategy of turning mute whenever anyone raises the issue.

She said she will only talk about it once on Oprah '06 - and will never answer questions about that again.

She also apologised on national TV after SB - I don't see why she should talk about it again - it's something she wants to put behind her - if doesn't matter if it was planned or an accident - People should respect her wishes and leave it as that.

Posts like this remind me why I rarely visit the org these days. You missed the entire point. Janet's cowardly decision to dodge all questions related to the Superbowl is her own funeral, but to expect Justin to follow suit is stupid. All he's doing is responding to questions he's been asked, but Janet fans are so confused they act as if he's going out of his way to bring it up. He's not.

He's trying to respond to the question without getting Janet in hot water by admitting the obvious truth. So he focuses on his own reaction to the incident rather than the incident itself. You Janet fans should be grateful for that. If he had a pair of balls, he'd tell the truth and let the chips fall where they will.

I really wished you did stay away from this forum more often or at least away from Janet threads.

To criticise, disagree and discuss is fine - but there is so much hate in your posts about Janet that is totally unacceptable.

Justin wasn't specifically asked about the SB - He was asked what his biggest regret of the decade was - he brought it up himself.

Imago

They should both be apologizing.

That was a boring ass performance other than her tittie. And even then, it was obviously staged.

Please. I don't hear you complaining about all the "hate" directed at JT around here. Obviously it only bothers you when it's your idol being put on blast. And "hate" is far too strong a word. I don't hate people. People are just composites of circumstances (but that's too deep for the org, so we'll leave it there).

As for this argument, I repeat what I said before. You cannot expect Justin to follow Janet's STUPID strategy of stonewalling all questions. It would be different if Janet had spoken frankly about the issue at the start and then got tired of it, but the fact is she never really spoke about it from the start. She made a vague, half hearted apology (which she has since retracted) and then never said anything more. Even in the immediate aftermath on Letterman, she sat there for ten minutes while he tried to get her to talk about it and she said absolutely nothing. It was PAINFUL to watch and she lost a lot of people's respect. Even last year she was asked about it on TV and she sat there in silence while her buddy Tyler Perry "protected" her from having to answer. Again, it made her look shifty. In truth, Timberlake has been evasive too, but at least he's smart enough to know that stonewalling all questions is not a sensible move. It's been a disastrous strategy for Janet, and you should not expect Timberlake to follow suit. (But even when he's apologising you Janet fans do nothing but spew hatred at him anyway, so really, he can't win).

Do you even realize how counter-productive Janet's evasiveness has been? Do you understand that the main reason this still hovers over her is because she has NEVER spoken freely about what happened? I doubt it. Like 75% of the people on this website you are a hero worshipper. I can't relate to that. I was always a massive Prince fan, but when he changed his name to an unpronouncable symbol and started wearing face masks I didn't defend him, because I knew the people who were criticizing him had a point. It didn't matter that I was a huge fan. My eyes were open. I will also praise people I don't like when they deserve it. For instance, I praised Janet's first two singles from Discipline. They were both decent. I think Rihanna (like Janet) is completely undeserving of her success, but I'll gladly say that "Umbrella" is a brilliant song. Would you and your fellow zealots ever give JT credit for anything? I think not.

Give Timberlake credit for what, exactly?

You are the one who refuses to give credit where credit is due. Discussing something with you is an impossible task.

For someone who doesn't come online often you sure respond fast and write a lot.

Why would I complain about people hating on JT - I don't like him.

I'm not blind to Janet’s bad choices and questionable output over the last decade. I hated the ‘All for you’ album and subsequent singles after – and have been vocal about my opinions on various music forums. I’m merely saying that I find your posts about Janet are hateful and bitter – loads of people dislike Janet on this here and often post their views on here – I ONLY ever feel the need to respond to yours.

Well duh! - Am I going to complain if someone says something bad about Hitler or Bin Laden (obviously JT is not in the same category as mass murderers but I’m trying to be explicit)? NO BECAUSE I DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO RESPOND!

But if they say something about my family, friends or people I like and respect - of course I’m going to be offended.

I really don't give a damn about Timberlake. He ain't shit, his music is shit, so fuck'em.

My main beef on that whole incident was the female population who didn't say shit nor come to Janet's defense.

I'm not a female so I shouldn't be saying this, but this was about a female anatomy that was exposed by a man. This was not a flash contrary to popular belief, hell that's just common sense.

It's also common sense to point the blame mainly on Timberlake himself. It was his performance, his song/lyrics (gonna have you naked by the end of this song), his hand ripping off the piece of the dress. HELLO???? Dumbasses. Yet they said it was her idea, that shit made no sense to me.

And I'm not necessarily blaming all females but those who have a forum to voice their opinions, women with media cred like Oprah and Barbara and others, women should have spoken out about how Janet got singled out, because what was she actually guilty of..having a nipple?

I agree. Janet was cleary fighting censorship. I think that was her motive behind that performance. I too expected woman to back Janet up on how messed up it is that men can show their nipples and woman can't. Everyone turned against her.

not to mention Beyonce' didn't want to associate herself with JJ, claiming that she didn't want to take any "risks" .

Are you implying that all male Janet Jackson fans are gay or feminine? Because if you are then that’s extremely stereotypical of you. But then again that’s what I would expect from someone who posts hateful comments and name calls other people on the forum when they disagree with them.

Again, Jan's biggest problem is Jan.

c~mon, even janet didn't stand 4 herself back then...all that sorry bitch speech...she was a coward just as much as justin.

Janet's manager made her apologize. You shouldn't talk on matters you have no knowledge about. It only makes you look like a fool smile

I'm so sorry 4 that. Lemme try again now that I know all the facts..of course she's not a coward...she's a coward puppet, then..it just makes her look like a fool, doesn't it? lol
