Maxwell will perform on The Jay Leno Show tonight at 10 p.m. EST/9 Central.

I saw that Maxwell tweeted that he just talked to Rocsi on 106th and Park, so he might be on there tomorrow (Friday). I can't seem to find any information on BET's site (God forbid) about it, but might be worth a shot to see if he's on there. He also talked to Denise Quan from CNN, but no idea when that will air.

I have a DVD recorder (like a VHS player). It's about $50 (sometimes a tad less). I just hook it to my DVR and record stuff as I need. Once I make the DVD (sometimes I'll permanently save stuff, sometimes I'll use a DVD-RW for temporary purposes), I put it in my computer and rip the videos as needed. I use Handbrake to rip any DVD. It works on Mac and PC platform.

I love his new cd. I hope he wins some Grammy's and performs on the show too. He can show most of them how a real singer sings.

Maxwell On blackSUMMERS’ night,Music & Life – Maxwell who recently returned to the music scene after an eight-year hiatus with a number 1 album, “BLACKsummers’night”, did an interview with Trace TV where he spoke in depth about his career, music and more.The singer who is nominated for six Grammys this year,revealed that he does not listen to his own music because he spends too much of his time making it.On the 8 year hiatus he explained that he took a break to live his life for a minute and that he had fun being away from the spotlight.He added he needed to escape the conditional love that comes with fame and he needed to be alone to grow old.He shared a lot about his trilogy BLACKsummers’night such as the meaning and the fact it was inspired by a woman whom he dated:

On the second part of his trilogy that is expected to be released later this year,he gave the following infos.
The new album will be more African like,it stays in the earth with a gospel touch .
His goal with Summers is to embellish the connection between America and Africa.
Whereas Night will mainly have love ballads and bedroom songs.

He also touched up on his Caribbean/Haitian upbringing by saying that there were a lot of rules,and he was forced to show a lot of respect to the elders who showed no love and had no respect for children.
