^^^ Strengh of One Man was one of my favorites for a long time. I could arely listen to it without getting misty. I love the part Is he strong enough because the road is tough and all of Michael's adlibs. Actually, I love this whole album.

I adore this song, too. My favourite from the album.

I recently got the Joyful Jukebox Music cd,and I thought it was a little odd that the cover reads

The Jackson 5
FEATURING Michael Jackson

confuse ah wasn't Michael considered apart of the Jackson 5? Why would he be considered FEATURING on a album with a group that he is apart of?

Yeah but lots of labels usually do this for some reason. Motown had "Diana Ross & the Supremes", "Martha Reeves & the Vandellas" and "Smokey Robinson & the Miracles" and around the '80s, "DeBarge ft. El DeBarge"

Other groups did it too: "Labelle ft. Patti LaBelle" (or "Patti & Labelle") and "The Isley Brothers ft. Ronald Isley". It's weird.

Michael Jackson Composed Soundtrack For Sonic 3 - Confirmed
December 3, 2009

Some pretty amazing news to deliver to you now, as it has been confirmed that none other than Michael Jackson, the legend himself - composed the music soundtrack to Sonic 3, putting years of speculation on the internet to rest.

As reported from VG247, Brad Buxer, the composer who was actually credited for the music in Sonic 3, confirmed that he and Michael Jackson worked together on the soundtrack for the game.

It turns out that MJ’s name wasn’t credited for the music, due to the fact that Jackson wasn’t satisfied with the end product and ‘didn’t want to be associated with a product that devalued his music‘.

Another theory is that Sega quickly ended partnership with Jackson, as the soundtrack was completed round about the same time that the child abuse scandals surfaced, so thats another thing to consider.

If you ask me, the soundtrack for Sonic 3 is a great piece of work, so I definitely have even more respect for MJ after this. The video below explains all of this much better than I have. Make sure you watch it and then leave us a comment with your thoughts. Note the obvious similarities with ‘Jam’ and ‘Stranger in Moscow’.

I can't believe i didn't figure that out back then!!

Ice Cap Zone is sooo him!

Ehehe: is it good or bad?
I can't see where Ice Cap Zone is "sooo" MJ...
biggrin lol

Seriously, I know you were being sarcastic. It's hard to believe that he composed the song.

They did that cause the songs from that album (of unreleased material at that time) were J and Mike solo tracks.

yet it seems like we see these kids more often than we ever saw them when mj was alive, which means its likely the paps are being tipped off. latoya's right there to peddle tidbits about them to the tabs. not to mention allowing this ghoul walters who had nothing but contempt for their father access via her special, however 'limited'.

yeah, that's some scary, fierce protection of their privacy. neutral

Remember when Michael was still here and people were bitching about the kids wearing scarves and saying he was doing wrong by them?

Now look, they're constantly being hounded by the photographers, people have been making fake Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter pages, and we see grown ass adults making fansites for them.....

Ironic?

They need to get a life I'll be happy when people stop being interested . I have no interest in his kids just hope they are doing well and that's it

though they were known as the j5 all the time they were at motown, after they left, and motown started reissuing their stuff, motown unilaterally started separating mj out of the j5 in the billing. i think i also read they wanted to do that when the j5 were at motown, but the joe and katherine wouldn't allow it.

while some other labels may do this (though i can't think of any off-hand), motown is particularly known for doing this. the supremes were just the supremes and the miracles just the miracles until the lead singers were separated from the group, then eventually went solo. it didn't happen to the temps or tops, though i believe i read in a book on motown david ruffin wanted that 'star billing' for himself but berry gordy shot him down.

i think martha reeves and the vandellas were always billed as that, though i could be wromg.

I think he is creating a charity song in this video, I really don't remember what was the purpose, maybe he is using the melody of "beautiful girl" but with different lyrics...no one knows. biggrin

Yeah nod I think this is the hurricane Katrina record, "beauitful Girl" was already released in 2004, maybe he changed the lyrics.
