There were scenes deleted from the films? Wouldn't have to be a full album. It could just be a pack-in CD with about 3 - 5 demos/outtakes. Captain EO and Moonwalker I tend to think of as the same era, in that span between Thriller and Dangerous. I mean, I don't think I'd say "weird" if they were packaged together. Of course, I don't think it will ever happen because record companies/studios just don't care about the consumers (hence why it took them so long to remove DRM from digital stores like iTunes, why they try to prevent people from making copies of DVD for their iPod, why they refused to let This Is It be released before Christmas, and the list goes on). Wow!! That Opus IS big!
I don't have it yet. That's what I've wanted for Christmas. Soon though, real soon. I didn't see that special PC screen magic movement card that's supposed to be included in the box (in the video above). Is it in one of the book's pages? Demand for Michael Jackson comic prompts special Thriller edition By David Bentley on Dec 18, 09 12:25 PM THE SUCCESS of a comic book commemorating the life of Michael Jackson has led to a further print run with a new, Thriller-inspired cover. The second edition of Tribute: Michael Jackson, King of Pop has sold out, says publisher Bluewater Productions. It's now ordered a third edition which will hit stores in January, with a Thriller-inspired cover by Giuseppe Mazzola from Jackson's official fan club. Mazzola also provided the foreword to the expanded 30-page edition. Bluewater president Darren Davis said: "The fans have spoken. The demand for this book has exceeded all our projections. We are very happy that fans have enjoyed the book." Next month Bluewater will be releasing a comic telling the life-story of Harry Potter writer JK Rowling. Upcoming biography comics include Ellen DeGeneres and Twilight novelist Stephenie Meyer. [Edited 12/18/09 23:25pm] "we make our heroes in America only to destroy them"

I didn't see that special PC screen magic movement card that's supposed to be included in the box (in the video above). Is it in one of the book's pages? No,unfortunately there was a change in the Opus Media Groups plans, and they have sent out emails saying that they only want the people that have bought the book to be able to access the special media. I think that sounds a little funny though because how would anyone that hasn't bought the book be able to get access to the card if it was supposed to be included with the book? Anywho, this is the email that they sent me today... Dear customer, We have received some calls from customers regarding the absence of the Opus Reality Card in the Opus and asking why there is only one glove included. We took the decision to include just one white glove purely as a further tribute to Michael Jackson. The single white glove is an iconic and defining symbol of the man and his extraordinary career and we thought it only fitting to include just one glove with your Opus. We hope that this is an understandable decision. Please be assured that the promised Opus Reality feature is very much part of the Opus offering, but we want to ensure that this is something only available to our customers. With that in mind, it has been decided that this should be offered through a secure and protected online forum. In the New Year, you will be provided with your own unique pass code to a secure area of the Opus web site. The Opus Reality trigger card will be available to download from the site and used to access footage that will be presented in a way that will hopefully provide you with a unique ‘Michael Jackson Experience’. The benefit of using this system is that it significantly reduces the possibility of non-Opus customers being able to access this experience. We are committed to bringing you a selection of Opus Reality footage over the coming year with the first example ready for you before the end of January 2010. We hope that this has helped to address these queries. Have a great holiday. Sincerely, Opus Media Group. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

Waiting on my Opus - hopefully here in the next week. They did promise a Christmas delivery but being in Australia I doubt it will arrive in time. If it does you'll be the first to hear about it.

Choice 1: HIGH DEFINITION DVD's from the following Destiny Tour Triumph Tour Victory Tour Bad Choice 2: More MJ music Hmmm.....I would go with the Destiny, Triumph (!!!!!) and Bad tours (only the first half before MJ started to lipsynch)... As for the Victory Tour?....I think that was one of MJ's more overrated tours....But hopefully MJ's estate will release those concerts on DVD....Those gigs were magic...

I think the reason why everyone wants Victory so bad is because we haven't seen any professional footage from the tour (excluding that billie jean performance and the clips from Moonwalker) and the 1988-89 leg of Bad tour has all of his tours beat.

While the Bad tour is an amazing show, I'm not as keen on it as I am some of the others because every song has that synthy, sped-up rhythm and all the songs sound the same because of it.

It's just a bunch of artists like Quincy, Shaggy, Jill Scott, Beyonce, etc. doting over MJ, but there is rare clips of concerts and stuff scattered about. There's footage of MJ doing Rock With You and Ben on the Triumph tour, crystal-clear, amazing high quality footage, I wouldn't be surprised if there's high-def film of the Triumph tour ripe for Blu-Ray.

Michael Jackson Tribute Concert Scrapped
Michael Jackson tribute concert which was scrapped in Vienna and moved to London after top acts dropped out has been canceled after the event's organizer closed down, the company's liquidator said on Friday. Organizers, led by Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson, canceled the Vienna concert in September after struggling to get stars to perform at short notice in the small Alpine nation. They had planned a replacement concert in London in summer 2010 but this has also been scrapped. Martin Schneider, liquidator for the organizers, told Reuters: "The company cannot sign any new contracts and will certainly not plan any new events." Event organizer World Awards Media GmbH decided to close on November 30, the company's liquidator said in an e-mailed statement. World Awards Media and its previous owner directed all queries to its liquidator. Ticket sales for the Vienna tribute stagnated after billed acts such as R&B stars Mary J. Blige and Chris Brown and veteran singer Natalie Cole started to back away from the concert which would have taken place at a 17th century palace. Organizers blamed Austrian media, saying they treated the line-up as "B-List" artists and sullied the memory of Jackson. The singer died in June, aged 50, from an overdose of powerful medications. His 1982 "Thriller" is the highest-selling album of all time. Billboard.com

Michael Jackson's FBI File to be Released
Posted Dec 19th 2009 11:50AM by TMZ Staff The Federal Bureau of Investigation will release 333 pages of Michael Jackson's formerly-classified file on Monday morning. Can we interest you in a little light reading? The documents will relate to his 1993 and 2004 child molestation cases -- as well as any case Michael Jackson was the victim of ... including threats and extortion attempts. Nothing about Dr. Conrad Murray or Michael's death will be in the files. Our guess -- the extortion attempts will be the most interesting. The FBI did a similar thing back in October concerning files involving Anna Nicole Smith and a possible plot to kill the son of her 89-year-old husband, J. Howard Marshall II.
