Just curious as who are everybody's favorite metal bands. I usually don't dig that screaming, annoying, cluttered shit, but i do love some prog.

My two favorites at the moment are Queensryche and Mastodon.

Queensryche is a fantastic band, Geoff Tate's voice is godly and the band just has such good synergy that everything sounds so nicely fitted together.

Mastodon is a great act as well. They're more brooding than other bands i listen too, but have just the right amount of groove in their music to get you in a trance.

Also, I completely forgot about Nine Inch Nails, great industrial band.
