I remember Portrait very well.

They were the group that came out in the Boyz II Men/Jodeci era (which shut down Color Me Badd era, but that's another thread! lol), which also included Shai, Silk, All-4-One, & Az Yet.

Too bad Portrait only lasted 2 albums.

In the midst of the release of their second album,the lead
singer left to go solo.That went well.Never heard from him
and they replaced him with a guy who looked practically just
like him.Both of their albums were good imo. I liked these
guys better than all the glut of r&b vocal groups that
came out in the early nineties.

I love this song. music I like "Honey Dip" as well. And Tony, you're still wrong about Color Me Badd. They were contemporaries of Boyz II Men and Jodeci, not ancestors. The sophomore slump is what finished them.
