Blackbyrd played a set at The Mint in LA on Sat Nov. 28. He played all guitar parts and was joined by a live drummer named Lomax and a digital recorder on which he had previously recorded the complete bass and keyboard parts. ABSOULTELY NO LOOPS OR SAMPLES.
The program consisted of all-new tunes from his new CD 'Bout Funkin' Time, plus a old standard from the PFAS days, "Fly On" and a set closer tease of "Jingle Bells". test | |
