God,,,you gotta give it to Sassy I should have put "My Favorite Things" on my Christmas Jazz playlist instead of my Christmas Music 2009 playlist I miss her. When I get a chance and I'll gather up the pics over the years my family took with Ms. Vaughan. That song was was off the "After Hours" album very bare bones recording, like MTV acoustic... here's some more info. It's one of my favorite albums she recorded. http://www.npr.org/templa...Id=4172877

Since you started the Xmas party, let's hope you get the "Sticky" I know you'll include what imo is the crown jewel of classy... ...Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song ...A 1961 version You're lucky you caught me before I could transform into... ...Anti-Claus mode. I'm glad you mentioned this tA. My first Christmas Playist, 2009 starts off with Nat King Cole - "The Christmas Song". I had originally planned to have an all guitar Christmas playlist but I thought some may have found that just a tad monotonous. So, I included voices/singers in my Christmas Music 2009: It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if this became a sticky, thanks for the shout out.

This is a great thread, thanks for all your links/lists!
I grew up with my folks listening to Sinatra, Satchmo, Lena, Ella, etc., so I always like playing them, especially during the holidays.
