Shes better off not putting it out or have something on their that will cause an earthquake, maybe a real duet with someone other than a LAME ass rapper. And maybe she can shoot a video with a good director and stay off the fucking beach!

as much as i love mariah, she's been quite stale with her last couple albums, except for a few songs. I really wish she would change up her music for the next album...not more of the same r&b that hasn't been working for her.


i would love to see her do some straight up club/dance music


but i read one of her recent interviews and in it she said that "people want me to put in more ballads or pop and i tell them, 'well i'm more of an r&b artist'." doesn't she realize she's had less hits with her last few albums than previously? I mean some of her latest songs like "obsessed" have been great, but others have been just terrible she's too talented to have her albums flop so i hope she wakes up soon...

Really if this is her last shining moment on her album she would do one disc of David Morales mixes and one album with r&b/hop hop remixes...NO songs with old beats on them with just featured rappers. Just a whole revamp of the whole album..its the only way it will sell.

Um. A Remix album getting bumped back. And all the remixes I have heard (except for the one that jacked Ghost Town DJs My Boo) were the same beats and an added guest.

My excitement/expectations are dwindling.

She's trying to get out of her contract.

In hindsight, Mimi should've shunned the majors and gone the indie route after Virgin kicked her around, following the colossal failure of the "Glitter" album and film.

Mimi gets a bad rap. Her albums this decade have all been great (save for Charmbracelet). I think E=MC2 is maybe her best album ever. Memoirs is a good album, but the hooks aren't as easy and its more of a grower.

I honsetly don't get the point of this remix project- the album is fine. If it flopped, then it flopped. Sales are down anyway- nobody makes money from sales these days. She had her years on top, it was only a matter of time. She can just keep releasing albums to make her fans happy. Why remix? Its so redundant.
