I'm sooo happy I haven't bought it yet so now I can just wait and buy the remixed edition in February. Then, I can buy a used copy of the original for much cheaper and have both for the price of one. A plan is forming  Prince Rogers Nelson

I don't think the album needs remixing. It's fine just the way it is. She just got screwed by Def Jam and her management in the promotional department. she actually has been working on both albums at the same time. this isn't a new plan at all.
it's irritating though when the lable & the artist are cocky enough to assume the release is going to be so huge it'll call for a re-release. they should've learned something from the last project. | |

I am just realizing this That remake had DOOM written all over it and the fact that they released it as a single rather than just leaving it as a nice closer track tells me the train is off the rails on this one. Following it up with HATEU is even more of a derailment. But oh well. C'est la vie. I still enjoy the album.  Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

Anything but that. The fact that they wanted her to add something more poppish was warning sign. Ribbon? Inseparable? Up Out My Face? Something fun with a catchy chorus that's a feel good song with no rapping. Not another ballad. And the suits need to stop reviewing everything as being radio-friendly when hardly anyone listens to radio anymore and since only 10 people are getting regular airplay. MariahDailyJournal is able to confirm that Mariah will be releasing two separate Remix albums for Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel early next year.
In addition to the main Remix album which will comprise of R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop remixes, the other will be a Dance album which will all be Jump Smokers remixes of tracks from Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. hell yes! | |
