She has been working on this remix album since the original Memoirs cames out. She was trying to be all hush hush about it but kept dropping hints over the past few months.

Just recently, she revealed she did a remix of "The Impossible" with Jodeci (yes, all of them).

I don't mind a remix ep/album from anyone- hell even just an EP of new songs. I just hate when artists and label try to make fans re-buy the same album.

That's greedy and pretty much telling fans they were stupid for buying the album the first time.

A remix album for an album nobody bought in the first place. Brilliant business model right there, Mariah. Since she didn't have any rent-a-rappers on the original, my only guess is that this project exists solely to find a place for them.

SO Memoirs has just come out here in the UK, and like a good lamb i waited untill release day
I must say I'm really liking it so far, well the beginning and the ending; the middle part just seems like a lot of filler.
