Roy Hargrove Appreciation

If any of you love or even like Jazz, you have to check out Roy Hargrove . I think he's one of the finest musicians and artist out today. My personal favorite is Earfood an awesome album.check him out if you're unfamiliar or just want to hear something new.
peace carmy.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm into jazz but I started out with classic jazz and I'm still working my way toward the more contemporary stuff. The only Roy hargrove I've heard is RH Factor and the work he did on Voodoo of course. How would you describe Earfood?

I just listened to Emergence the other day. The big band sound isn't quite my bag, but its certainly an ambitious record worth a listen.

Big fan of Mr. Hargrove when he's in Chicago, he hangs out (plays) at a club named Andy's on Hubbard Street.
