As this years The X Factor reaches its penultimate show, Janet Jackson confirmed that she isto perform live on Sunday 6th December. The X Factor will be showcasing Janet Jackson’s only UK TV performance of 2009, drawn from her recently released greatest hits compilation The Best.

Janet Jackson has been topping charts since signing her first record deal in 1982. Janet to perform at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball on December 6th

Janet Jackson's first UK performance since her brother's death has sold out in less than an hour. The singer is part of the star-studded line-up for Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball at London's O2 Arena. She will take to the stage on December 6 alongside Shakira, Dizzee Rascal, JLS and Ne-Yo. Tickets for the additional date went on sale at 8am on Tuesday morning but had sold out within the hour. Capital FM said it added a second night to its popular Jingle Bell Ball Christmas concert because it was "deluged" by disappointed fans who missed out on tickets.

Exactly! nod

HOWEVER.....

Real Janet die-hards are also suppose to name-check Janet Jackson & Dreamstreet. Granted, it didn't give her automatic crossover success. But they're Janet's "hood records"! cool

mushy

The best ever!!
