Did anyone else notice that Jermaine Jackson forgot to mention Randy? When clay faced Jermaine Jackson accepted one of the posthumous American Music Awards for Michael, he named all of his brothers and sisters, except for Randy.
There are two possible answers: 1) When you name a bunch of people, you may inadvertenly leave someone out because you thought you said all the names 2) It was intentional due to the fact that there have been issues between Jermaine and Randy over the fact that Jermaine took up with Randy's ex. 1995 Jackson went with his younger brother Randy's ex-girlfriend, Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza. The couple had sons Jaafar, born on January 25, 1996, and Jermajesty, born on January 2, 2000;[7] Jermaine separated from Oaziaza in November 2004; Jermaine was ordered to pay $50,000 for Alejandra's legal fees and $50,000 for child support in August 2007. this was in exchange for Oaziaza's waiving her right to spousal support[citation needed]. It was a settlement because Oaziaza was married to Nicholas Ray when she married Jermaine, and her marriage to Nicholas was never nullified, nor did she get a divorce from him[citation needed]. Therefore, when she married Jermaine during her marriage to Nicholas, her marriage to Jermaine was null and void[citation needed]. Halima Rashid, who is of Afghan descent, became Jackson's second wife. The couple married in 2004.[12] They currently live in Los Angeles, but frequently travel to London and Bahrain. Jermaine has seven children: three with Gordy, two with Maldonado and two with Oaziaza In 1989, Randy Jackson married Eliza Shaffe. On 17 June 1990, Eliza gave birth to their daughter Steveanna. Steveanna Shaffe-Jackson is an aspiring actress/singer, who appeared on Zoey 101. Jackson and Eliza divorced in 1991. During his marriage to Eliza Shaffe, Jackson had an affair with Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza, producing daughter Genevieve. After he divorced Shaffe, he continued dating Oaziaza, who gave birth to their son Randy Jr. in 1991. The couple's relationship ended in 1994. When they split, Alejandra in 1995 married and had two sons Jaffar Jackson and Jermajesty Jackson with Randy's older brother Jermaine Jackson, causing much strain in the family.
