HAHAHAHAHA LOLOLOLOLOL HAHAHA --RIHANNA'S BRAND NEW ALBUM $3.99 ON AMAZON .COM

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

http://www.amazon.com/gp/...337&sr=8-1

November 24, 2009. MediaTakeOut.com learned that Rihanna and her people are PANICKING!!! According to our insider her label Def Jam is extremely worried that Rihanna's new album, Rated R is not performing.

And it gets worse. Early numbers say that Rih has been outpaced 2x over by UK singer Susan Boyle and a Lady Gaga Rereleases. So it's looking like she may only have a number 3 record.

To save face, MediaTajkeOut.com learned that Def Jam marked down her album price to $3.99 on Amazon yesterday. And that today they're having an early morning meeting to decide whether to sell it as a .99 cent special on black friday. lol lol lol lol

They did the same with Adam Lambert (I wouldn't be surprised if he out sells her as well). Someone like Rhianna is only as good as her producer and the fact that there isn't a hooky single (or perhaps hooky song on the album altogether) is really their fault. The $3.99 thing is done in order to increase sales for sure, but I think Bon Jovi did the same and debuted at number one. Not sure if many of those sales were from Amazon or if that was going to happen anyway.

Let's see, new "ballad" (actually just drags) about offing oneself.

Comparing THAT single with hits such as "Don't Stop The Music", "S.O.S.", etc - how can they be surprised that people aren't copping the album?

Maybe they didn't have the right drum loop samples from Garageband this time around (like they did for Umbrella)! lol

lol @ The source of this. MediaTakeout are some haters for real! haha. If I was a celebrity, I'd sue their asses.

As for Rihanna, I like her and have all her albums. I loved "Good Girl Gone Bad" especially, but I haven't been impressed with anything i've heard from her new album so I'll wait for her to release more singles before deciding if I want to buy it or not.

I don't like Rihanna, but some people would pay extra to have the tracks in lossless quality and get some liner notes and artwork with it.

they sold Chrisette Michele's album the first week for the same price, same label, much better album. And I copped Rihanna for $3.99 and if it goes down to .99 I will be calling Amazon for my $3! Trust lol

Also Jay's album is $5 the whole month, so is Nelly Furtado and BEP!

Amazon has some good sales!! smile

why are they panicking?

‘Russian roulette’ is a top ten hit all over the world and the album will probably sell over time because she gets good airplay and will probably release a few singles to support it over the next year or so.

They should have produced a better album.

And the whole mood and style is too depressing for me.

Folks this is the way Amazon is doing business now, you just get the download, its not a cd or artwork, they started all this a few years ago as a test and now its pretty much the way of the day for them, they are the only music seller that has shown an increase in its sales, all others (retail and iTunes) are way down.

There is nothing to sue over. It's obviously not "true" and just based on their opinion. They do that kind of "reporting" all the time.

It's not unusual or indicative of a flop. They have a lot of albums for a really cheap price for a few days. I'm not a fan of Rihanna, but let's keep it in perspective here.

It's not about that. Google the definition of "russian roulette" and actually LISTEN to the lyrics.

Seriously the album is just ok, she could have recorded more pop like tracks she did with the last record.

Dont nobody want to buy Russian Roulette....thats not a hit. They should have packed the gun with "Rude Boy". What's wrong with them??!?!?

Identity

Media Take-Out is the ghettoized version of Perez Hilton, but with less traffic and offers an abundance of low-brow humor.
