It's not like the girl can't sing. It's weird because at one point, she was very much a brand-not like Beyonce, but she was very much a media presence. Interesting too, how she and Aaliyah were around at the same time. I wonder why Brandy just fell by the wayside. I don't get it.

I really don't think Brandy's career is over per se. She just needs good material. Her last album was bad only because it had weak material. I don't think record companies will continue to have her, though. She should go the independent route (like her brother did) and give up on the big companies.

She'll be fine. I liked a lot of her last album. Actually, I enjoy all of her albums to some extent.

I think Brandy should return to acting.Maybe get a role on a TV show? I just can't see her making a huge comeback in the music world.Her recent albums were ignored.

You know, about a year before the album came out, she was leaking songs like crazy. Several of them were actually very good. I was upset that many of them did not make the cut.

Not sure. She was dropped from Atlantic, but then signed to Epic through a joint-venture deal with Koch. Not sure if she still has a deal, though.

Shade aside, this girl has more talent than most out today.

Brandy can make a comeback.

I think Brandy willl be fine. I've enjoyed all her albums. She just needs better marketing perhaps.

She's not a true r&b artist, nor is she a true pop artist. She seems to walk that line between both of them. She doesn't really dance and perform like Britney, nor does she have a big voice like Jennifer Hudson.

The music she did as a teen was perfect for her. Now that she's an adult, it seems to be a bit hard for her fans to listen to her as an adult artist. Not to mention, her image has never really been the real sexy type, therefore it is harder to market her.
