I don't even think Jermaine wants to be Michael (that's too much pressure), I think he feels like screwed over because Michael was always in the front. He left his group and strained ties with his family to stay at Motown because his father in law promised a great solo deal but was under promoted until he did Let's Get Serious then Arista didn't do much for his work and then Word To The Badd! was the dealbreaker....

I really really dont like Jermaine. It’s not so much that fact of how completely shady he is, like Joe. It’s the fact that he puts on this act as if he is the sweetest man in the world. At least Joe doesn’t pretend to be something he’s not. I use to really like Jermaine, actually the whole family. I really wish I never read any of those tell all books from Margaret and Latoya and the likes, and never heard those Glenda tapes, which is the thing that made me go from sceptical to believing those books. It was nice to have that fantasy image of the family that I had during most of my fandom

I think for some people, Jermaine's actions are kind of like a double edged sword.....similar to how some fans feel about LaToya

At least The LaToya had an excuse. Most of her evil deeds were ideas provoked by an abusive husband.

All of Jermaine's sins were his own faults and no one else. But at least Michael did forget him after Jermaine started acting more like a big brother in later years. Give credit OR blame on Jermaine's Islam faith for his attitude adjustment.

people seem to forget that michael wasnt getting all this love when he was alive and his family was ALWAYS defending him, if it was ok for them to go on tv and defend him when he was getting into trouble and the media hated him why is it not ok for them to continue to go on tv and talk about him now that he's gone?
